Hi! I'm Sophie, 18, female, English, vegetarian. I don't know what I can say about myself to convince you to add me. I suppose all I can do is tell you to add me anyway so you can make your own judgement on me. But to get you started i'll give you a few facts, then you can take it from there! - I'm in my last year of Sixth Form studying History, Media & English Literature. - In September next year i'll hopefully be at University studying Journalism. - I speak English, French and Norwegian. - I don't have a favourite genre of music. I'll listen to anything. - My favourite films are: Atonement, Breakfast at Tiffanys, The Notebook, The Bridges of Madison County, Girl Interrupted, Wicker Park, The Holiday, Just Married, Becoming Jane, Pride and Prejudice and Miracle on 34th Street. - I will live in Norway one day ;)

Hey, I thought I might try this way to find friends I haven't met yet.

By now I managed to become 27 years young, living and learning in Berlin, Germany. I studied Political Science at university and am currently a journalist in the making. But secretly I want to become a glittery rainbow-coloured fairytale kitty when I grow up. As you see, I seem to differ from most people, but I don't necessarily consider that a bad thing. So if you have this feeling of alienation yourself we already might have some things in common.

If I had to charactarise theworldissaved I would probably describe myself as a musicaholic, bookaholic, ponderer, witch, girlie-grrrl and loner at times. Moreover I'm complex, nerv-straining, talking a lot, thinking and analysing even more, sarcastic, politically interested, idealistic, realistic and I love to laugh (even if there's not always reason to).

I can't stand shallow people, maybe because I'm not good at small talk (I can't quite grasp the concept). That might be the reason why it's equally hard for me to find friends here as it is in real life - although I'm a loyal and never had a complaint about my qualities as a friend.

Utter satisfaction is not my style, that's why I'm always seeking to be a better version of myself. But of course there's a lot more to define me beyond this introduction and my interest list. I guess you've to read my journal to find out.

My journal's really what you'd call a diary. It's individual and unique - and obviously in English. Most of the stuff I write in here is kind of private, that's why I turned theworldissaved Friends Only. You're free to add me, just leave a comment in my journal. I'd love to get to know you!

Sometimes I merely rant or post pictures, but mostly I use my journal to write things off my chest, just let the thoughts flow. Therefore, if you come here and find a whiny entry, chances are that there'll be a funny one tomorrow. Just keeping the balance in my life - or at least try to.

The journal is about my everyday life but not covering my whole day in detail (like how many times I was at the restroom or other boring trifles), my clumsy mishaps and, because it's a big lump of my life right now, a lot of future- and work-related entries.
